Coaching with Audible
In 2023, Audible engaged me to provide workplace coaching to one of their teams that had experienced tremendous change and had additional responsibilities. Over 6 months, I provided individual sessions to this high-performing team. I helped them with navigating their current roles, helping them become more strategic in their approach to work, leadership, and communication, and gave them tools to manage stress, manage their time more effectively, and find more work-life harmony in their busy lives.
The Results?
100% of clients were extremely satisfied with me as their coach
100% of clients would recommend me as a coach to other colleagues
100% of clients would continue to use my services if offered
Behavioral Health Coaching
In late 2019, I was recruited to join the next Coaching Cohort at Lyra Health and undergo a rigorous training program on Behavioral Health. As Lyra Health coaches, we provided mental health coaching to clients who worked for companies including Google, Meta, Uber, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Starbucks, and many other corporations.
The program began in early 2020, and it was an interesting time to begin doing this work, as the world endured the global Covid pandemic that began in March 2020 in the United States.
During this unique opportunity, I coached dozens of professionals and executives and taught them tools rooted in self-awareness, stress and anxiety management, more effective communication skills, deeper self-compassion, and mindfulness practices. I also helped them during an extremely difficult period of working, parenting, and navigating relationships during the pandemic.
Out of a 5-star rating scale, I consistently received 4.5-5 stars.
Multicultural Corporate Wellness
In 2024, I joined forces with therapist Patricia Alvarado, M.A., LPCC, LMHC, to create a unique program called Latinx Healthy Minds. Together, we have designed and facilitated culturally-relevant mental health programs for Latinx professionals. Our client roster includes companies such as TikTok, NBCUniversal, My Code, and Reddit.
We design virtual group sessions for companies or specific groups, like Latinx ERGs, on a variety of topics related to mental well-being. Past sessions include:
The Unfiltered 1st-Gen Emotional Experience
Mental Health Implications of a Layered Identity
Burnout: What is it and how do I manage it?
Discussions on Resilience: Pushing Forward in Uncertain Times
Assertiveness for More Impactful Communication
Fake It Til You Make It: Exploring Imposter Syndrome and Building a Community of Support
Your Mental Health at Work
Asking for What You Need
The Importance of Mental Health and Well-Being for First Gens
Attendees noted how they benefited from the safe space to connect, learn, and share with colleagues on topics important to their group, and to learn new ways of taking care of themselves and their mental well-being.
Career Coaching Parents
In October 2024, I joined the talented team at Parentaly, which is a comprehensive program offered as an employee benefit to support expecting and returning parents, as well as their managers, through the parental leave journey.
Expecting parents have access to a structured career coaching program from pre-leave to return-to-work. Managers receive training and guidance on how to build an empathetic parental leave experience and tactical steps to take through each phase of the leave journey.
In this role, I work closely with parents on defining what success looks like for them and their teams, while they prepare for one of the most transformational times of their lives. I help them get ready for the time they are away, all of those logistics, but also working with them on understanding their career goals for in the future and how to create a roadmap to get there.
As a working parent myself, I am honored to provide this type of coaching support to parents who are navigating their journeys in home and work life.
